The Price is Wright Tour!!

Jillian and Gordon Wright, Cassie and Matt Price, Caitlin, John, Leah
Fish Lake Trail, 9 miles

We met at the Wright house first to tune up bikes and pump up tires, then drove down to the Fish Lake Trailhead. Lots of lovely spring sunshine, friendly banter, and bike swapping. Can't wait to do it again!!

Jillian's "Surprise" Birthday Ride
Home to Manito Park
Jillian, Gordon, John Henry, Leah, Sean, Caitlin, Pat

A chilly, partially-sunny morning. After the ride, we drank mimosas and ate eggs, apple crisp, star fruit and cheesy bread. Oh, and Gordon started a fire. Not sure what that was all about, really. : )

Sunday, March 6th

Jillian, Gordon, Caitlin
Mileage Unknown
Tour of SoLo Parks

We went up Adams to 17th, then went east. Stopped off at Red Panda Pottery, then on to Manito Park. From there we went to Cannon Hill park, down to Cliff Park, out to Pioneer Park then back down the hill home. A fun ride! Looked at lots of awesome houses. Chilly, partially cloudy, early spring day. Yay! Time to reinstate the Sunday Brunch & Bikes!

Still a little ice on the trail in places, but otherwise a great ride! It's so great to be out biking again. I really must do this more often. : )

First bike ride of the New Year!

Jillian, Gordon, Amanda, & Sean
Route: Around lower SoLo, out to Polly Judd Park and back.

A beautiful, sunny, chilly day! We had a lovely ride! Gordon on his ridiculous new mountain bike, the rest of us on our reasonable, rational, reliable street bikes : ).

Can't wait to do it agian!

Spokefest!

Sooooo......
I'm really late posting this. Spokefest was, like, 5 months ago. Early September. I don't feel like looking up the exact date right now.

HOWEVER: It was totally awesome. You have your choice of rides (9 miles, 22 miles, 48 miles). Gordon and I did the 22 mile ride, although considering that we also rode down to the event and back, it ended up being more like 26 miles. The course goes west along the river, then east back up it. MY FIRST TIME EVER BIKING UP DOOMSDAY HILL-------and I made it!!! Thanks to Gordon's excellent coaching! We are very much looking forward to participating again next year!

Sunday, August 29th

Fish Lake Trail--Full length, 16 miles
Gordon, Jillian, Sean, Amanda

A lovely morning. Did a quick DIY tune-up prior to the ride. Went to the end and back--not bad for being mildly hung over from G&Ts/Betrayal/A-Team.
